About Riverdale Othello

Riverdale Othello is a 16-year-old, 13.3hh bay British Riding Pony looking for his next home. He is an experienced gelding with a lovely, cheeky character, making him a great companion for the right family.

This versatile pony is suitable for lead-rein families who want to enjoy showing and jumping, or as a second pony for a confident young rider. He enjoys showing, jumping, and is good at dressage. Riverdale Othello is also a good hack, whether alone or in company.

He is confident and genuine when jumping, currently tackling 50cm courses at competitions. While he has the ability to jump higher, we believe it's best for him to stay at a level that suits his age.

Riverdale Othello is good to clip, load, and is well-behaved for the farrier and dentist. He can live in or out, with either mares or geldings, and his teeth and vaccinations are up to date.

Although he has been primarily handled by a 12-year-old, he requires a knowledgeable and confident home rather than a complete beginner. He has a history of coming home with ribbons from shows, making him a promising addition to any family looking to have fun and compete.
