Lead rein First ridden Pony Club
A share pony lets the whole family ride. Typically a sensible larger pony (around 13.2–14.2hh) with the substance to carry a small adult and the kindness to look after a child, these ponies are perfect for a mother and daughter to enjoy together — hacking side by side, sharing the care, and doubling the fun for one set of bills.
Ponies here are flagged by sellers as suitable to share, and still answer all the usual honest handling questions so you know they suit both riders.

Frequently asked questions
What makes a good share pony?+
Enough size and substance to carry a light adult, paired with a genuinely kind temperament for a child — plus soundness and sensible manners for two different riders.
How big should a share pony be?+
Usually 13.2–14.2hh with good bone. It must comfortably carry the heavier rider while staying manageable for the child.
